【摘要】:Theprocedureisintended,primarilytoevaluatetheabilityofaleatherspecimentowithstandfixed,andratherstrenuous,launderingconditions.Thistestisnotintendedasarecommendedwashingprocedure,neitherhouseholdnorcommercial.Althoughthistestconcernsitselfwithcolorfastnessandtransferofcolorduringwashing,thewashedleatherspecimensareavailablealsoforcomparingotherproperties(thatis,tensilestrength,areachange,changeinoutline,etc.)withthoseofunwashedsamples.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecolorfastnessofcoloredleathers,withorwithoutasurfacecoating.Theleatherstobetestedareofthetypenormallyexpectedtowithstandfrequentlaundering.Thistestmethodalsocoversthesimultaneousstainingofadjacenttextilematerialswhentheleatherspecimensarewashed.Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytowetblue.Twoproceduresarecovereddependingontheapparatusused:1.1.1ProcedureA,usingtheLaunder-Ometerand1.1.2ProcedureB,usinganalternativewashingmachine.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesstatedinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
